For the eagle eyed of you amongst us, you may have noticed that although both myself and Michaela are Directors of Heart & Home Property Professionals and have created our own brand, we are supported by a third party company, but who are they, what do they do and how does it work exactly?
Well, as we have mentioned Michaela and I had spoken for a couple of years about this business venture, before taking the leap and going it alone. The main reason being we really wanted to get it right but also because we didn’t really know where to begin.
Anyone who has worked in agency will know there are an abundance of overheads including portal subscriptions, software, marketing material, for sale boards and so much more. All of which are payable whether you have a property on the books or not, so we wanted to investigate if we could do it a different way.
We reached out to several well known companies to see what support they could offer us but often found it felt quite corporate and there wasn’t really the option to keep our own branding. We had our heart set on our business name and brand colours and it was so so important to us that they were showcased.
After extensive research I stumbled across a blog that was written about a company based in Notting Hill, London and they appeared to offer exactly what we were looking for! We met with Agent & Homes and quickly felt it was right for us. Not only did we already have a similar name, but we really felt our brand wouldn’t be diluted. Agent & Homes offer all our background support, which means we can be out there doing what we do best, selling property!
