OUR LOCAL FAVOURITES
Places we think you'll love

The Georgian Hotel
Coppa Club at The Georgian Hotel is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cocktail in the evening. With its relaxed atmosphere, stylish interiors and central High Street location, it’s perfect for coffee, lunch, drinks with friends or settling in with a laptop for a few hours whilst enjoying the buzz of the town around you.

Olivers Coffee Shop
Tucked away just off West Street, Oliver’s is a welcoming coffee shop by day and wine bar by night. One of our favourites for breakfast or a coffee, it also serves freshly prepared lunches, sharing boards and drinks into the evening, with a real focus on good-quality food and local suppliers.

Marley Common
A favourite for peaceful woodland walks, Marley Common feels wonderfully tucked away while still being close to Haslemere. With beautiful trails, open heathland and plenty of space to explore, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet walk and a little escape into the countryside.

DID YOU KNOW?
A little local knowledge
Sir Robert Hunter, one of the three founders of the National Trust, moved to Haslemere in 1882 and lived here for the rest of his life. He is buried at St Bartholomew's Church in the town.
Haslemere Educational Museum was founded in 1888 by surgeon Sir Jonathan Hutchinson. Today it holds more than 240,000 natural-history specimens and 140,000 human-history artefacts.
Haslemere’s market dates back to 1221, when the Bishop of Salisbury was granted the right to hold a market in the town. More than 800 years later, the tradition continues with a monthly Farmers’ Market held on the High Street on the first Saturday of each month.
